Things you need to know
Are gift certificates available?
Yes absolutely and they make great gifts! Souvenir shirts are also available to purchase.
Ask me about the "Frequent Fisher Program".
Multiple trips can be purchased in advance at a discounted price.
How do I book a trip?
Booking a trip is an easy 2 step process. First you will need to contact me via email or phone, firstname.lastname@example.org or 1-843-814-8982. Second we will check availability and secure the date of your trip with a credit card. A 25% deposit is required to secure your date and time.
Can I book a trip on short notice?
Yes, trips can be booked on short notice based on availability. To guarantee your charter please make arrangements in advance.
What is the cancellation policy?
When you make your reservation a credit card will be used to secure your trip. If you cancel your trip within 48 hours I will refund the total amount of your deposit. If you cancel within 24 hours or do not show up for the charter you will be charged the full amount for your trip. Cancellations must be made by email or phone call, no exceptions. The captain reserves the right to cancel at any time.
What about inclement weather?
South Carolina does present some unique weather challenges from time to time. The captain will make the call if a charter has to be cancelled due to weather. If a charter does have to be cancelled we will try and reschedule on a mutually convenient date, otherwise you will receive a full refund.
When and where will I meet the captain?
When you make a reservation a date and start time will be set. My boats are at Bohicket Marina, the address to the marina is 1880 Andell Bluff Blvd. Seabrook Island, SC 29455. Pick ups from other locations can be made but arrangements must be made in advance with the captain.
What should I bring?
The captain will supply everything necessary for fishing. For your comfort I suggest bringing light rain gear, sunglasses, hat, camera, soft sole shoes(non marking soles please) and motion sickness medication if needed. You are responsible for your own food and drinks, there is a cooler on the boat and ice is provided. You may want to bring a cooler if you plan to take your catch home with you. Arrangements can be made for food/drink to be provided at an additional cost.
How should I dress?
You need to dress appropriately for being outdoors on the water. Temperatures are known to fluctuate while on the water, dress in layers so you will be prepared for the day as it unfolds. A rain jacket is never a bad idea!
How large of a party can you accommodate?
I am constrained by the US Coast Guard on the number of passengers on the boat, the maximum number of passengers is 6( this does not include the captain). To accommodate larger parties or corporate groups arrangements can be made for additional boats to insure that everyone gets out on the water.
