Keen Eye Charters is owned and operated by Chris Keen. Chris is a full time fishing guide and is insured and licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard. He holds a "six pack" license with means he can take up to six clients at a time out on a guided trip. He has spent years fishing the waters around Charleston, South Carolina, from the Bull's Bay area north of Charleston down south to the North Edisto River. All of the trips with Chris are customized to fit each clients goals and abilities. Chris grew up in Virginia fly fishing for brown and rainbow trout on the Holston river and swift clear streams in the Appalachian mountains. It only took one fishing trip in the backwaters of Charleston catching redfish for him to fall in love with saltwater fishing. With the rod bent and reel screaming he was hooked. Fishing with light tackle and artificial baits is what he enjoys most. Chris fishes as many of the local tournaments as he can and participates in the IFA Redfish Tour events. He graduated from East Tennessee State University with a business management degree and soon returned to Charleston to begin his fishing career.
